Well, on December 30th Harrison officially became a Barnett! The adoption was made official at the Columbia County Courthouse and thankfully, the process was so smooth. The Lord truly showed himself faithful throughout the entire process. It, like many other things in my life, was about trusting HIM. I remember about a year ago the Lord asking me to think big and tell him the biggest thing I wanted from Him and I told him that I wanted to see the adoption process complete, especially before we made any additions to the family. Well, He did it. To some it may not seem like a big deal, but I know that the Lord did a mighty work and was faithful to the end. It has meant so much to me to have our friends and family close and so extremely supportive of our family. Harrison has been so proud to tell everyone that he is now "Harrison Graham Barnett". He sounds so cute when he says it. Last night he (out of the blue) told me as we were "chilaxing" that he loved me "so much, more than the whole world, more than the stars and more than the moon." Big, fat tears welled up in my eyes because I could see that he really meant every word he said. Thank you Lord for my child, and for my husband.
